About Downing Draft

Downing Draft is a UK political simulation game about the choices you make in Number 10. You build your own cabinet from real British politicians and discover whether your government can deliver its promises and stay together.

It is easy to criticise from the outside. Whatever your politics, the answers always look obvious when someone else is in charge. Cut this, fund that, stand firm, change course. Simple.

Then you sit in the chair.

Suddenly every choice has a cost. Every priority you pick means something else gets less. Back one thing and you upset the people you needed for another. Even a genuinely capable government can run out of road, lose its nerve, or fall out with itself long before the work is done.
